Revolution / Evolution – Cintrée Curvex

The Revolution / Evolution collection represent a group of truly outstanding timepieces each with their own unique features.

Revolution 1

The Revolution 1 features a mechanism operated by a pusher at 8 o’clock that causes the flying tourbillon to rise above the surface of the dial. In turn, the rising tourbillon mechanism is interlocked with the hand to move them safely out of the way when the tourbillon cage rises and returns them precisely to their correct position when the tourbillon returns to the retracted position.

Revolution 2

The Revolution 2 takes tourbillon technology to the next dimension by rotating the cage both horizontally, in the plane of the dial, and on the vertical axis running from 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock.

Revolution 3

The Revolution 3 is a world premiere and one of the masterpiece of the Franck Muller collection. After years of development, Franck Muller revolutionized the watchmaking industry by making the very first tri-axial tourbillon in the world: the Revolution 3, an exceptional technical spectacle. This triple axis Tourbillon corrects the forces of gravity in all positions, contrary to a classic one which only compensates when the wristwatch is in vertical position. This stunning complication is the result of one of the most complex creations in Haute Horlogerie. The revolution 3 adds additional rotation about the axis running in the 9 o’clock to 3 o’clock direction

Evolution 3-1

To this masterpiece, was added a Perpetual Calendar, pushing this complication even further, the result being the Evolution 3-1.
